When it comes to Romanian verbs, there are tenses and moods. Of the latter, the most frequently used is the “conjunctiv”, not unsimilar to the old English subjunctive. While “conjunctiv” verb forms can be hard to memorise correctly, the good news is that this grammatical mood comes in certain patterns. That is to say, we use it especially after certain verbs like “to know”, “to be able to”, “to want”.
